Founder • Writer • Creator

Scott Walker is an independent writer and the founder of Hundred Sparks Pictures LLC, developing character-driven comedy rooted in friendship, family, faith, and the unexpected directions life takes.

Before turning his attention to screenwriting, Scott served eight years in the United States Army, including an assignment in South Korea repairing M270A1 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems. His time in Korea began a lasting interest in Korean history and culture—and, years later, provided an unlikely piece of inspiration for the name and imagery of Hundred Sparks Pictures.

Scott's writing draws from a varied collection of experiences: military service, years spent in California and Utah, work in corrections, travel, religious life, and a longstanding interest in history and different cultures. He approaches comedy with the belief that characters don't have to be caricatures to be funny. The best humor often comes from ordinary people taking their lives seriously while life refuses to cooperate.

His current project is Ward Bound, an original half-hour single-camera comedy about two single men navigating friendship, dating, faith, and adulthood along Utah's Wasatch Front.

Scott lives and writes in Utah.
